Joanne Jones  ~  President

Inspired by her passion for children and community, Joanne Jones, is an accomplished leader and activist. As Communications Director for the Mothers of Professional Basketball Players, Inc. and formerly Vice President of the Dahntay Jones Foundation, Ms. Jones is ready to take on her new role as President of JAM24Seven (Jesus Answers Me 24Seven) Enrichment Center. A remarkable woman with a generous spirit and compassionate heart, she is an advocate for youth and families. Equipped with unlimited ambition and an undying dedication to helping others, Ms. Jones is devoted to creating positive solutions and pathways to success for inner city residents. As the principal behind JAM24Seven, Joanne Jones is set to affect the community and transform generations.

Dahntay Jones  ~  Vice-President

NBA champion, businessman and sports analyst  ~  Dahntay Jones, a Trenton, New Jersey native, graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Policy. He was a standout talent in basketball at Duke University, averaging 18 points per game his senior season leading the team in scoring.

Originally drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2004 as the 20th overall pick, Jones is one of the most respected players in the National Basketball League.  Jones just completed his tenth season in the NBA and most recently played for the Atlanta Hawks.  The 6’6″, 215lb, guard/forward has received numerous accolades including being named Honorable Mention All-American by AP in 2003, voted to All-ACC Defensive Team 2002/2003 and All-ACC 1st Team in 2003.  In 2001, Jones won the Gold Medal at the World Championship for Young Men with the U.S. Team, earned All-Tournament honors in the ECAC Holiday Festival in 2000 and was named to the Big East All-Rookie Team in 1999.

Jones has proven to be a force on and off the court. He is the founder of the Dahntay Jones Foundation and provides underserved youth an opportunity to play competitive after-school sports.  Jones also actively volunteers his time in each NBA city to inner-city programs targeting minorities, women and youth.

Edgar Abrams  ~  Vice-President

Edgar Abrams was a two star varsity athlete at Fieldston High school in the Bronx where he played basketball and ran track and field.  Since then, his passion for sports has never wavered and Edgar has been able to turn his passion into a successful business.  Edgar is the founder and President of ERA management where he oversees the business management of professional athletes and entertainers. Previously, Edgar held several positions in business management and was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. He has a BA in economics from Boston University and continues to maintain a strong passion for sports and education.

Yolanda Timberlake  ~  Vice-President

A self motivated professional with 30 + years experience in Operations, Sales, Ecommerce and Enterprise businesses for a Fortune 40 company.  Exceptional and diverse background in sales, customer service, leadership, and operations. Achieved various positions of increasing responsibility with strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills, solid relationship management, project management, event organizer, strong detail-oriented, communication, training, and organizational skills. Proven record of professional strategic sales and leadership achievement.

Jennifer Taylor-Smith  ~  Secretary

Loyal to supporting her communities, Jennifer Taylor Smith has worked with elementary and handicapped children as a paraprofessional. Prior to recognizing her true passion and love for helping others Jennifer was an executive secretary and worked in the accounting department for several companies. Jennifer became an entrepreneur as a fund raiser primarily in school systems where she recognized her passion to help children. Later in life she became the primary caretaker for a family member.  Jennifer has been a faithful Christian since youth, she is dependable and has a heart for serving others.  One of her unforgettable memories is her being in the Mrs NJ USA pageant.  Jennifer is a proud wife, mother of 2 sons and a grandmother (Momma-J) of 5.  Jennifer is dedicated and ambitious to reach back to help our community and children.
